Since its foundation in 1978 Marine Foods B.V. has grown into one of the main trading companies in frozen fish in The Netherlands with markets in South East Asia, Japan, Australia, Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia.
“Quality, Reliability and Service“ is the basic principal of Marine Foods resulting since many years in solid relationships with customers and producers worldwide.
In 1995 Marine Foods started a partnership with the largest pelagic factory Makfroid SAS, in France. Here Mackerel, Horsemackerel and Sardines are the main species produced. Marine Foods is responsible for the export of fish produced by Makfroid.

Quality: Product quality is of utmost importance to our customers. Our own Quality Control department inspects the products we market around the world. The Quality Control inspectors operate worldwide to ensure the quality of our products and to check loadings. Their detailed inspection reports are submitted to both customers and suppliers.

Reliability: Marine Foods is an international operating seafood company involved in fishing, processing & cold storage with over 25 years experience in the market. We continuously inform both customers and suppliers about the market situation and availability of products. Our objective is to establish a long term business relationship with customers and suppliers. Through a sound quality, logistic and customer service policy, Marine Foods is able to meet the expectations of suppliers and customers.

Service: Logistics play a major role in our organisation. Every agreement for storage, transport and documentation is arranged according to customer requirements by our Logistics department. We are able to communicate with our customers in several languages. Besides Dutch and English, our customers can be served in German, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian language.
