Quality Control

Quality is one of the key principles of Marine Foods.

The surveyors of our Quality Control department have a long experience with many species and operate world wide. Following our HACCP plan food safety procedures are ensured and followed. In addition our own developed Inspection programme gives direct and detailed information to our clients and enables our surveyors to do large and detailed inspections within a limited period of time.

Each inspection report reflects an objective point of view on the product and clearly shows crucial parameters such as ;

. Production date(s) and lot number(s)

. Outside and inside freshness

. Size range and average size

. Fat & Feed content

. Meat consistency and Feed content.

. Net & and gross weight per carton.

In addition, special customer or market related requirements ( such as fat and roe content ) are taken into account during the inspection.

Our Quality controllers supervise reefer, truck and container loadings and un-loadings to make sure the goods are transported correctly. These detailed reports show the nr of crt, Lotnrs, packing quality, label info and confirm the temperatures observed.
